Ellie Olds has helped Forest Green Rovers win their first five games in the FA Premier League South West Division 1.

4. Position (and have you always played there? Central Midfield. I started as a Centre Back, but moved into midfield when I was about 12.
5. Team supporter / fave player? Chelsea / Frank Lampard (I can’t believe he’s left)
6. Occupation (or what are you studying)? Just finished sixth form and going to Uni to study Sports & Exercise Science. Currently working in a coffee shop for some money!
7. Are there any footballers in your family? Only my younger cousin, everyone else plays rugby!
8. Favourite game played in by you and why? Loads of good ones, but at U-16 we won the National Futsal Tournament…not really one game but an amazing tournament.
9. Your best attribute as a player? I’d like to say passing, but sometimes they are a bit wild!
10. What are your ambitions in football? This season to hopefully win the league, and progress as far as I can, but long term it is just to carry on enjoying playing.
11. Who has been the biggest influence on your footballing career? Probably my teammates, as I have been playing with some of them since I was eleven years old.
12. What is the best thing about playing for your team? The club atmosphere is good, with everyone up for a laugh, until game time that is, when it gets serious. The nights out are pretty awesome as well!
13. If you got to design your club’s kit, what would it look like? I like our kit at the moment, so would keep it the same, but maybe not so bright!
14. Do you listen to music to get you motivated, or while you train – if so, wha tracks? I listen to anything really, and we have music on before the game…so whatever’s on.
15. Who, that plays in your team should we know more about, and why: Shep (Jodie Shepherd), as she is always asking questions about us.
