Actonians Reserves, Cray Valley, Eastleigh Reserves Foxhole, Long Itchington, Newcastle East End, Pools Youth and Upton have all been celebrating Women’s County League titles.
Actonians Reserves tied up the Greater London League Division 1 North title with a final game 11-0 result against New London Lionesses, capped by Sharon Odofin’s hat-trick in the last 17 minutes. The west London team were tasked only to avoid defeat at home to the bottom side to stay above second-placed Camden Town Blues, whom they led narrowly on goal-difference before the game.
Sunday also saw the league’s cup finals day, in which Clapton CFC edged Enfield Town 3rds with a Lucy Spours goal in the John Greenacre Memorial Trophy, Brentford ‘B’ beat Islington Borough for the 50th Anniversary Trophy thanks to a Kasey Clifford brace and Forest Crusaders were 3-0 winners over AFC Leyton in the Sue Sharples Memorial Trophy, aided by Georgia Maxwell-Jones’ double.
Cray Valley are the South East Counties Division 1 East champions after matching second-placed Baldon Sports’ final day result. Cray beat Glebe 5-0 to finish a point in front on their title rivals.

Eastleigh Reserves finished top of the Hampshire League Division 2 by two points, following a walkover against third-placed Liphook United. Title-chasing AFC Portchester had done all they could and more, winning 1-0 at AFC Varsity where they played with just nine players throughout, only ten could travel and Ava Colbourne then sustained a suspected ACL injury in the warm-up.
Foxhole were declared winners of Cornwall League Division 2, after Wadebridge – their last scheduled opponents – forfeited the fixture. RNAS Culdrose finished a very close second in the table.
Long Itchington landed the Birmingham League Premier Division title in their last game, an 10-2 away win at Sutton United where Stav Williams scored four times. It was their 19th win in 20 matches and sealed the title ahead of Redditch Borough.
Newcastle East End faced a title showdown away to Alnwick Town Development, against whom they drew 1-1 to take the Northumberland Premier Division trophy by two points.
Pools Youth topped the Durham League, winning Division 1 by four points despite drawing their last two matches. Although held at home 1-1 by basement side Durham United in midweek, Robyn Ingram’s 70th-minute goal was enough to seal top spot. They finished up at home to runners-up Gateshead at the weekend, twice levelling through Hannah Lambert and Charlotte Scott after both sides suffered first-half red cards.
Upton won the Cheshire League Premier Division after a final day victory lifted them above an also unbeaten Ellesmere Port Town. A win was needed and they comfortably despatched Sandbach United 13-0, taking the title by two points.
