Of the ten new Women’s County divisional winners this week, Draycott Victoria, Gainsborough Trinity and Redcar Town Reserves are league champions.

Draycott Victoria are Derbyshire League champions after Borrowash Victoria lost to Belper Town. Draycott then won 2-0 away to Sandiacre Town, who sit second in Division 1.

Redcar Town Reserves were unbeaten in tying up the North Riding League title. A 5-1 result over second-placed Poppleton also meant they were beyond the reach of Thornaby.

Gainsborough Trinity made sure of the Lincolnshire League title after holding the leadership on the last day. With a big advantage in terms of goal-difference on rivals Lincoln United Development, the championship was as good as theirs. A 9-2 scoreline against Barton United cemented Trinity’s position, with Alice Hill on target four times.

Netherton have won the Cambridgeshire League with a so-far perfect record and two games to spare. Six points from Sunday’s Division 1 double-header with Cambridge University meant that Cardea could no longer catch them. Yasmin Green bagged a brace in a 5-0 win and also found the net in the 2-1 victory. Netherton can make it a double when they meet Leverington Sports in the League Cup final at Ely City FC on 8 May.

Macclesfield FC are promoted to the Cheshire Premier after securing top spot in the Championship East Division. They ran out 11-0 winners at Altrincham Hale on Sunday and finish four points ahead of Stockport County Development.

AFC Kesgrave topped the Suffolk Championship on goal-difference, after winning their last game 8-0 against Leiston St Margarets. They knew a win would be enough, as their goals record was already superior to that of Henley Athletic who had won 4-0 in midweek.
