Hull United battled back to beat York RI 2-1 and win the North East Women’s Regional League Division 1 South title.
EASTERN – Dunstable deny champions victory
Premier – Bottom held top as AFC Dunstable drew 0-0 with champions Wymondham Town, Bedford scored all three goals of the game at Wroxham to go third, Luton Town beat Bowers & Pitsea 3-0 at Kenilworth Road and rose to fourth, Colney Heath sank hosts Kings Lynn Town 7-1 to leapfrog them on goal-difference into fifth.
1 South – Wodson Park edged East Bergholt United 3-2 to go above them into seventh spot.
EAST MIDLANDS – Chesterfield go clear
Premier – Chesterfield went three points clear at the top – but from as many games ore than Northampton Town – when defeating Notts County 3-0. Lincoln United’s Abigail Murrell hit five in an 11-1 result at Rise Park, while elsewhere it finished Oughtibridge WM 5-1 Loughborough Students, Rotherham United 6-2 Leicester City LFC.
1 North – Grimsby Town downed third-placed Nottingham Trent University 7-2 as Bethany Wharton netted four second-half goals, Cleethorpes Town drew 1-1 in the basement battle with Sherwood.
1 South – Anstey Nomads won 2-1 at Thrapston Town to go within three points of leaders Derby County. Kettering Town edged a seven-goal thriller at Loughborough Foxes Vixens, Nottingham Forest Women DS saw off Ilkeston Town 2-1 and Coalville Town are just a point behind Peterborough United Reserves against whom Aleksandra Wawrzycka got the only goal.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Five-goal Saltdean out of drop zone
Premier – Unbeaten Ashford Town (Middlesex) stayed on course for the title with a 2-0 defeat of Dulwich Hamlet, second-placed Dartford won 1-0 at Fulham. Worthing rescued a point at Aylesford as Rebecca Bell came off the bench to score, Saltdean United got out of the relegtion zone with a notable 5-0 result over New London Lionesses.

1 North – Dorking Wanderers joined the top two on 25 points with a 3-1 success over Sutton United, while Hackney won 4-0 against Walton Casuals.
1 South – Hastings United drew a three-figure crowd for their 3-0 defeat of Parkwood Rangers, while Welling United held Ashford Ladies 1-1.
League Trophy – AFC Acorns put nine Newhaven with three from substitute Eleanor Killick-Bird, as they set up a final clash with Bexhill United or Hastings United, who meet next Sunday.
NORTH EAST – Hull United clinch title
Premier – Harrogate Town won 2-0 at Ossett United to leapfrog them into second spot, South Shields had a fine 4-1 win at Redcar Town, Wakefield Trinity walloped hosts Sheffield Wednesday 10-1, Sunderland West End just got the better of Wallsend BC 2-1, as did Farsley Celtic FC when away at Hartlepool United.
1 North – Chester le Street United led leaders Blyth Town with a Sarah Hutchieson goal but Ailsa Swinburne levelled in the last ten minutes, Boro Rangers went within three points of the top team when beating Bishop Auckland 2-0 with an Eve Jackson double. Washington got the only goal at Spennymoor Town, as did Wallsend BC’s Rachel Hepple in the all-reserve game at Norton & Stockton Ancients, Guisborough Town gained a rare point in a 3-3 tie with West Allotment Celtic.
1 South – Hull United came from behind to win the top-two clash at York RI 2-1 with goals by Lauren Tate and Tonya Wild-Storr to become champions, Altofts are now second after beating Wakefield Trinity U-23s 5-1.
NORTH WEST – Chester gain ground on Curzon
Premier – Merseyrail completed a title-winning campaign with a 4-0 defeat of AFC Darwen, Salford City Lionesses won 2-0 over West Didsbury & Chorlton to go level on points with third-placed Crewe Alexandra, Cheadle Town Stingers and Fleetwood Town Wrens finished all square at two apiece.
1 North – Blackburn CSC took a step nearer the title with a 3-0 victory over Preston North End, Blackpool scored seven times against Carlisle United, Haslingden beat Accrington Stanley 2-0. Workington Reds went fifth with a 2-1 win at Penwortham Town, Penrith won 3-0 at Chorley DS, Morecambe moved above Sir Tom Finney on goal-difference when defeating them 3-0.
1 South – Curzon Ashton’s lead was cut to four points when held to a goalless home draw by Warrington Wolves, title-challengers Chester were 1-0 winners at Hindley. Didsbury defeated West Kirby 3-1 and honours were shared in a double header as Runcorn Linnets and Mersey Valley each recorded narrow victories.
SOUTHERN – Bournemouth Sports set to seal second place
Premier – Oxford City were 4-1 winners in the meeting of the bottom two, at home to Woodley United.
Division 1 – Bournemouth Sports look certain to seal the runners-up spot following an 8-1 scoreline against Eversley & California, New Milton Town rose above Chichester City into third after beating them 3-1 away, Milton United moved off the foot of the table with a fine 3-2 result over AFC Stoneham.
SOUTH WEST – St Austell end Ilminster’s unbeaten run
Premier – AFC St. Austell have leaders Ilminster Town firmly in their sights after sending them to a first defeat, as Kaitlyn Harris, Elizabeth Overton and Lucy Solloway all scored in a 3-0 success.
1 East – Warminster Town won 5-2 against top of the table Swindon Town DS, whom they can now catch with their two games in hand. AEK Boco beat Chipping Sodbury Town 2-1 in a midweek match.
1 North – Bristol Ladies Union defeated Downend Flyers by the odd goal in five, Cheltenham Town DS drew 1-1 with Oldland Abbotonians.
1 West – Liskeard Athletic’s 3-2 victory at Saltash United lifted them to third, as they continue to chase down the leading pair.
WEST MIDLANDS – Cookley Sports progress on penalties
Premier – Lichfield City won with a Natasha Lawrence goal at Coventry Sphinx but Sutton Coldfield Town and Stourbridge both maintained the pressure with 6-0 wins, against Coundon Court and City of Stoke respectively. Other results were; Crusaders 3-1 Kidderminster Harriers, Worcester City 8-0 Tamworth.
1 North – Jodie Barber was the sole goalscorer as Darlaston Town defeated Walsall Ladies.
League Cup – Cookley Sports profited 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 deadlock at Westfields, Leamington Lions went through 4-3 after extra-time at Rugby Borough, Walsall Wood also progressed by the same score at Sandwell where Rosie Hargreaves’s brace aided a second-half comeback. Shifnal Town knocked out Port Vale 4-1, Rebecca-Lee Bown with one of the goals but also a red card, Solihull Sporting had a walkover at Rugby Town.
