England U-17s Beat Elite Round Hosts

GROUP 6: Belgium 1-2 Iceland, England 3-1 Serbia

The Young Lionesses did fall behind on 38 minutes to a Tijana Filipovic goal but were level on half-time as Anna Patten quickly replied.

Ellie Brazil then gave England the lead just before the hour mark and Anna Filbey sealed the points with 7 minutes left on the clock.

England next play Iceland at 1pm (UK time) on Sunday and they were 2-1 winners over Belgium today.

Hlin Eiriksdottir took only 2 minutes to open the scoring and although Davinia Vanmechelen equalised, Gudrun Gyoa Haralz grabbed a 72nd-minute winner.
