Bob Docherty U-15 Cup, Day 2

Saturday April 2nd
BOB DOCHERY U-15 CUP
Republic of Ireland 3-1 Northern Ireland

The Republic made it two wins from as many games and Louise Masterson set them ont their way, despite the Northern Ireland keeper intercepting a Tyler Toland pass.

Masterson doubled the lead 7 minutes before the break, picked out well by a pass from Lucia Labato.

The North fought back in the second half and with 15 minutes to go, Megan Bell halved the deficit from a free kick.

But Amy Boyle-Carr then played in Isibéal Carolan to wrap up the win in style.

Wales 2002 0-6 Scotland

Reigning champions Scotland were in front after only 4 minutes against one of the hosts’ two sides, as Leah Eddy netted with a free kick.

Morgan Cross and Elena Brown added one each to see the Scots go in three up at the interval.

Abby Callaghan came off the bench to score early in the second half, with fellow subs Jemma Marriott and Naomi Welch also getting in on the act, the latter with a header from a set-piece.

The last round of group games is today (Sunday April 3rd), with Wales 2001 and Northern Ireland first up at Dragon Park at noon, followed by Scotland against England at 2pm.
