Sporting Club Albion’s 2-1 win over Newcastle has put them third in the Northern Division with games still in hand with which to overtake the top two. Abi Cottam was amongst the goals for Albion as they led 2-0 at the break, United replying with a late penalty.
Bradford leapfrogged Nottingham Forest into fifth after beating them 2-0 away, Hannah Campbell’s late goal sealing the points after the Bantams went in one up at half time thanks to a Rachel Lee volley.

Nuneaton remain a points above the relegation zone having gone down 3-1 at Huddersfield. Debbie Hastings levelled after the hour and Emily Heckler bagged a late brace for the Terriers.
Charlton continue to lead the race for the Southern runners-up spot after a 5-1 over Plymouth which likely condemed Argyle to last place. Jenny Newman’s goal was the only difference between the sides until Charley Clifford doubled the lead after the inyterval. A rush of goals then saw Gemma Shepherd, Kit Graham and Nikita Whinnett all net for the hosts and Summer Taylor pull one back for the Pilgrims.
Cardiff thumped QPR to go third, 2 points behind the Addicks with a game in hand. Cori Williams and Kirsty Bartlett had them two up in 11 minutes, Mariko Engles halved the deficit from distance but City forced in a third by half time. Abbie Britton and a Bartlett header nade it 5-1 before the 50th minute, with Kelly Aldridge also getting on the scoresheet later.
Tottenham finished their season in sixth following a good 2-1 result at Coventry, achieved with two Rosie Kmita goals in the lst 10 minutes. Aliosn Hall headed in at the back-post on 18 minutes for United but Kmita rifled in the equaliser and then found herself free on the edge of the area to guide in the winner.
Portsmouth went level on points with Coventry after a 3-0 defeat of next to bottom Forest Green, Emma Sherwood, Sarah Kempson and Gemma Hillier all scoring in the first 25 minutes.
Radcliffe remain second in the Midlands thanks to a 2-0 victory over Peterborough, who stay in the drop zone. The victory was secured with a header from a corner 8 minutes from the end. Wolves’ 2-1 win at Birmingham & West Midlands lifted them above their hosts into third. They went behind to a Gemma Mooney free kick but levelled through Jade Cross when their hosts were down to 10 players through injury and Jade Sailsman then got the decider. Solihull are fourth after a 3-2 win at Rotherham. Sporting Khalsa are only 2 points fron safety having posted a 3-0 success at Loughborough Students.
Liverpool Marshalls Feds missed the chance to tie up the Northern Division 1 runners-up spot when slipping to a 3-2 home defeat against challengers Chorley. Mossley’s Aimee Cleaver scored in added time as they drew 1-1 with Chester-le-Street. Morecambe moved into the top half by ending Hull’s season with a 2-1 defeat of the Tigers, despite Charlotte Holliday opening the scoring for the visitors. Blackpool are level on points with both Morecambe and Leeds after edging out Tranmere 3-2 with Abby Pullen getting a couple and Rovers still plenty to do to escape the drop.
The South East title has been won by a still unbeaten Crystal Palace side after their 4-1 win at MK Dons. Gemma Bryan added twice to Leanne Bell’s opener by the break, the Dons got one back but Roschelle Shakes rounded off the scoring. The Eagles promotion to the Southern Division was confirmed with Gillingham’s one-goal loss to Cambridge, for whom Monique Christian turned in a corner on her debut. Sixth-placed Ipswich moved 4 points ahead of Enfield with a 3-1 scoreline, Zoe Cossey, Amanda Crump and Roxanne Small their scorers.
The South West championship battle is down to 3 teams, with Larkhall out of contention after a 2-1 defeat by Swindon, who still have a game in hand on leaders Chichester. Ellie Maynard and Beth Westlake got Town’s goals before the Larks found the net. Keynsham scored the only goal at Maidenhead through Leanne Lapham to move into third spot. Chichester had to come from behind to beat Cheltenham 3-1, a result that has them top on goal-difference. Rosie Herbert’s goal brought a Lucie Challen double in response before City sealed the points with a third scored by Chloe Parkes.
