Glasgow City had to wait until midway through the second half to breakdown Aberdeen, Clare Shine turning home a Leanne Ross cross.

Hibs took only 4 minutes to go in front through Lizzie Arnot at Forfar, with Lucy Graham doubling the advantage shortly before half time. It was 3-0 just before the hour mark as Abbi Grant teed up Caroline Heron to score, with Kirsty Deans volleying home a consolation for the hosts.

Stirling beat Celtic for the first time ever and in dramatic fashion with all the goals coming in the last few minutes. Suzanne Mulvey gave the Hoops an 86th minute lead only for Nicole Pullar to head in the equaliser and Jade Gallon to get a stunning winner.

Rangers got the only goal in the game with Spartans but were indebted to keeper Claire Johnstone for a first-half penalty save, den ying Alana Marshall. The deadlock was broken 20 minutes from time, Rhianna Tweedie’s ball into the area knocked down by Lisa Swanson for Megan Foley to fire home.

Hamilton have won all four games in SWPL 2 after a 2-0 defeat of Glasgow Girls. MT McGuinness put the Accies ahead and Gillian Inglis double the advantage by the interval.

Hearts put five past Queens Park to remain unbeaten in second spot. Rebecca Smith, Brogan Anderson, Ashley Carse and Lynsay Miller got one each, plus a first senior goal for Michaela McAlonie.

High fives also for Buchan in their home match with Inverness but no goals to show though for Hutchison Vale and Jeanfield.
