Hibernian were 3-1 winners over Hearts in front of 3,508 in the Park’s Motor Group Scottish Women’s Premier League.

Rachael Boyle and a Siobhan Hunter header had Hibs 2-0 up at Tynecastle but Emily Mutch had to save a Jenny Smith penalty on half-time to protect that lead.

Hearts did halve the deficit midway through the second half, Lia Tweedie setting up Erin Rennie for a goal on her debut.

Hibernian had to wait until the last minute to make sure of all three points, as Eilidh Adams added their third goal.

Although this was the last SWPL1 fixture until mid-January, there are still three more SWPL2 matches on Sunday 19 December:

Dundee United v Glasgow Girls & Women
Queen’s Park v St Johnstone
Stirling University v Boroughmuir Thistle
