Spacey is recognised with an MBE for her services to football, over a career when she represented England 91 times, scoring 28 goals, and is now assistant head coach with England Women’s Senior team.
Expressing her reactions on twitter, she said: ‘Truly humbled and flattered at being recognised for an MBE. Football is all about the people you meet, the memories you make and the success you create together.
‘I have met truly fabulous people, made some amazing memories and had many moments of success, thank you for all.’
