The Potters narrowly missed out on promotion to the WSL after enjoying a strong showing in the FA Premier League Northern Division campaign.
Despite the disappointment Frost is confident that his side will be able to mount another serious challenge for promotion next term, and will take huge confidence from the fact that he has been able to retain a large number of his star performers.
Speaking to stokecityfc.com, he said: “We have unfortunately lost Abby Hunt, who has gone over to Canada, but we have a great group of Under-17s who are capable of putting themselves into contention next season.
“I am hoping that three or four of them will not only push for a place in the squad, but for a starting position, because the quality is certainly there.
“We have others that might take a little more time on the pitch to adapt to open-aged football, because whilst there is no doubting their ability, they will notice a big step up when they come up against senior players.
“We have also been able to keep the spine of our team together with goalkeeper Natalie Hall returning after long-term injury, whilst our regular back four, Nicola Hudson, Meg Bowyer, Cassie Hyde and Anne Marie Atherton will all continue with us.
“Natasha Lilly and Louise Roberts will be a solid outfit in the midfield of the park and with the pace and flair of Millie Elson, Jamilla Palmer and Ashleigh Hayes we will certainly be a threat going forward.
“Retaining a senior Wales international in Hannah Keryakpolis is massive for us too, because she boasts huge amounts of experience and she possesses the quality to win games for us with a moment of magic.
“Kate Asher is also committed to leading the line for us, and we will have Laura Garside coming back after she suffered a hugely unfortunate injury during the end of season run in.”
