North Wales Women’s League new structure confirmed

North Wales League team map

The North East Wales FA and FAW have confirmed the new divisional set up for the North Wales Women’s League.

Instead of a Division 1 and 2, there is now a Premier Division along with two regionalised Championships.

A reduction in the sizes of the divisions is due to the late – and as yet unconfirmed – start to the campaign, while also needing to accommodate various cup competitions.

Premier Division: Airbus UK Broughton, Amlwch Town, Bethel, Connahs Quay, Llanfair United, Llandudno, Rhyl 1879

Championship West: Bangor 1876, Caernarfon Town, Llanystumdwy, NFA, Penrhyn Bay, Pwllheli

Championship East: Corwen, Denbigh Town, Holywell, Northop Hall, Welshpool, Wrexham
