Chester le Street are above Morecambe in the table but crashed to a 5-1 reverse in Lancashire.

Mossley Hill banked their first points of the season with a 5-2 victory over Tranmere in the basement clash. Amy Hughes and Erin Slade got early goals and a penalty was missed as the hosts built a 4-0 interval lead.

Denham defeated Actonians 4-2 in the South East’s Middlesex derby, moving within 3 points of the fourth-placed side.

Stevenage gained only their third point of the campaign with a goalless draw at Enfield Town.
