Nottingham Forest Chairperson Stands Down

She began as a player when the club was first formed by Nottingham Forest in the Community in the 1990/91 season and served at various times as First Team Captain, Reserve Team Captain, Merchandise/PR/Programme/Website co-ordinator and various other roles before becoming chairperson for the club in two spells from 2003-2006 and 2012 until recently.

Forest say that PJ has been one of the leading lights in the club’s history and development, with her hard work, commitment, dedication and loyalty becoming the heartbeat of the club. She played a significant role in providing the ideas, momentum, inspiration, skill and knowledge that has driven the club to a whole host of honours during her time with us.

These include Unison East Midlands League Cup Winners on two occasions (1999/2000, 2001/2002), losing finalist in the same competition (2002/2003), Unison East Midlands Premier League Winners (2002/2003), Midlands Combination Runners Up (2003/2004) and Winners (2004/2005), FA Northern Premier Champions (2007/2008), Nottinghamshire FA Women’s County Cup Winners on 11 occasions, National FA Women’s Cup Quarter Finalists on two occasions and National Women’s Premier League Cup runners-up (2010/2011) as well as a number of non-playing awards recognising the high standards of ethics and administration at the club.
