Coach Required For Essex U-16 Girls

Applications are being invited for the position of U-16s Assistant Coach with the Essex County FA Girls Regional Talent Club, to deliver practical football sessions in-line with a technical programme.

Based at the Shrub End Sports & Community Centre in Colchester, the role involves three and a half training hours – split between Wednesdays and Saturdays – plus matches on Saturdays. The new Assistant Coach will start as soon as possible, with submissions required from interested individuals by Monday 27th February.

The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach to provide high-quality sessions, implementing a training and games programme in line with Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines whilst looking after the welfare of their players Key skills and experience required include a UEFA ‘B’ Licence, the FA Youth Award Modules 1 and 2, an FA License and the relevant Emergency Aid, Safeguarding and CRC Certificates.

An understanding of talent identification is desirable, as is an appreciation of LTPD, knowledge and understanding of working with young players, the ability to work in a team environment and an understanding of the FA Girls & Women’s Player Pathway.
