Just the two games in the Championship North survived the weather, as Inverness Caledonian Thistle sunk Westdyke 7-0 with the aid of a Jodie Malcolm treble and Cove Rangers came away from Grampian 4-0 victors, London Pollard twice on target.
Livingston got off to a flying start in in Championship South by netting a dozen goals past Edinburgh City. The visitors, who were down to ten players after only 6 minutes due to injury and lack of substitutes, restricted their hosts to three first-half goals. However, the floodgates opened after the break and saw Sophie Gilchrist complete a hat-trick.
Airdrie saw off St Mirren 4-2, United Glasgow defeated Clyde 3-1, Morton won 5-0 against Stenhousemuir with braces by Hannah Stewart and Rachel McConnachie, while Gartcairn’s game with Falkirk was abandoned before half-time due to high winds.
