Arsenal and Glasgow City both won away ties in the UEFA Women’s Champions League but Manchester City were held at home by Atlético Madrid.

Vivianne Miedema proved too much for Slavia Praha to cope with, scoring four times in a 28-minute spell. Kim Little made it 5-0 to Arsenal before the hosts pulled a couple back through Katerina Svitkova and Mia Persson.
Manchester City know they have to at least score in the return game with Atlético Madrid after conccding late on in the home leg. Janine Beckie gave City a good start with a goal on 13 minutes after Keira Walsh’s through-ball was touched on by Caroline Weir. Ellie Roebuck made a great double save to deny Angela Sosa and then tip Elena Linari’s half-volley onto the woodwork but Charlyn Corral equalised in the final 10 minutes.
Brøndby proved perfect hosts to Glasgow City as they twice helped the ball into their own net. Emilie Henriksen did so in the opening seconds from a Sam Kerr shot on goal and keeper Katrine Abel followed suit on the hour mark when misjudging Leanne Ross’ free-kick.

Holders Lyon put four goals past Fortuna Hjørring as Ada hegerberg and Eugenie Le Sommer scored two apiece all in the space of 37 minutes. Lyon became the first side to reach 100 games in the competition and Hegerberg equalled Anja Mittag’s record of 51 UWCL goals.
PSG put four past Breidablik with a goal apiece for Karina Sævik, Formiga and Marie-Antoinette Katoto inside 30 minutes, plus a stoppage-time Paulina Dudek effort.
Zannette Jakobfi and Dominique Bloodworth each bagged a brace a Wolfsburg built a six-goal advantage to take to Enschede.
Fellow German side Bayern Munich also look well on their way through after a 5-0 victory in Kazakhstan, where Lina Magull got a ten-minute double.
