Charlton Athletic’s latest addition is Wales international midfielder Alice Griffiths, who joins after clinching a Welsh treble with Cardiff Met last season.
The 18-year-old told the Addicks: “Charlton were very successful last season and Riteesh [Mishra] has given me the opportunity to show myself so I’ve been given a great opportunity and hopefully I can take it.”
Manager Riteesh Mishra is pleased with his new signing: “Alice has moved over here and I’m excited to work with her. She has a great attitude, really driven and has already pleased me in training.”
Griffiths made her Wales debut in a World Cup qualifier earlier in 2019 and takes part in her first international camp of the season this weekend.
