#WPWL: Gabi Hughes brace helps Abergavenny win 5-1 at Cyncoed

Abergavenny ran out 5-1 winners at Cyncoed in midweek, ahead of the conclusion of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League campaign this Sunday.

Gabi Hughes set Abergavenny on their way with a first-half brace, although hosts Cyncoed halved the deficit by the break.

Kate Jeremiah, Ceri Hudson and Eliza Atkins added one goal each in the second half to seal the points.

The season finishes on Sunday, when Swansea City can secure the runners-up spot with a win at Port Talbot Town, Cardiff City FC must beat visitors Abergavenny to have a hope of second place, while Cyncoed can replace Llandudno in sixth with three points at home to Briton Ferry Llansawel.
