Danielle Carter wins the She Kicks Fan Card poll for The SSE Women’s FA Cup Final 2015-16.
She Kicks in association with Team Snap – the only way to manage your team – conducted a poll after the Women’s FA Cup final on Saturday.
Voting closed on Sunday and with 29% of the votes Arsenal’s Danielle Carter was chosen as the winner.
In second and third place respectively were Arsenal duo Kelly Smith (17%) and Vicky Losada got 15%.
Speaking to the media afterwards, goalscorer and Player of the Match Danielle Carter said;
“Just to play st Wembley is a dream come true. To score and for us to win the game is ridiculous.
I cut in and knew if I could get a shot off it was going to test her and it did and it went in.
I was nervous before but as soon as you get your first touch, you forget where you are, so to speak, even though there’s thirty-odd thousand. You just ease into the game and let your ability do the talking.”
