Blackburn Rovers beat Manchester City 6-5 on penalties in the FA Girls’ Youth Cup 1st Round on Saturday 3rd November.

The match had finished all square at 3-3, before the hosts eliminated the holders who had beaten Reading in last season’s final.

The result saw Manchester City miss out on a clash with Manchester United, with Rovers instead now hosting the Reds in the 2nd Round on Saturday 24th November.
