Peyton Vincze scored her first goal for Wales early in the second half for a 1-0 victory.

Meesha Dudley-Jones put a good chance off-target and Elise Hughes’ shot was collected by the keeper before Gacanica spurned another opportunity.

Adter Vincze broke the deadlock, Ffion Morgan’s shot from the edge of the box was saved and a late corner from Alice Griffiths was fired over the crossbar by Vincze

Meanwhile, Norway won the group in decisive fashion, hitting Denmark for six.

Ylinn Tennebø, Olaug Tvedten, Malin Sunde and Elisabeth Terland got a goal each, Jenny Kristine Røsholm Olsen then missing a penalty but making it up with a quick brace by the break. Cecilie Johansen got a late consolation for the Danes.
