PNS, who play a division above the Cobblers in the East Midlands League, got off to a flying start, despite Vicky Gallagher’s early penalty hitting the post.
With only 5 minutes played, Samara Iredale scored with a long distance free-kick and the lead was doubled a further 5 minutes on, as Cassie Steward slotted home past the Town keeper.
Peterborough also made a positive start to the second half, as 7 minutes in Katie Steward made it 3-0.
It was 4-0 on 77 minutes as Jodie Bartle sent the defence the wrong way and fired home.
Deep into added time, Stef Pepper and Gallagher combined for Georgia Coulson to make it 5-0 with the final kick of the game.
