Already beyond second-placed Westella & Willerby, the Celts went to remaining opponents in the battle for honours Sheffield Wednesday, where a goalless draw was enough to also move them out of the Owls’ reach.
Two players have been dominant in the team’s tally of 88 goals in all competitions, Olivia Auker netting an impressive 32 and Katie Platts 16.
With two league games to go, Farsley have only suffered one defeat, beaten 3-1 at Altofts in February.
They made the quarter-finals of the League Cup but bowed out 2-0 at Premier Division title-chasing Barnsley.
More recently, they reached the West Riding Cup semi-finals but came up against Premier League Brighouse Town, who ran out 7-0 winners.
