Met led 1-0 at the break after Chloe O’Connor won a penalty in the 30th minute and it was converted by Lauren Townsend.
O’Connor scored herself 4 minutes into the second half but the hosts then lost Sara Moreira for a handball outside of the box.
O’Connor made it 3-0 in the 80th minute but the Bluebirds rallied with a swift reply and then a spot-kick in added time.
Ferry Fall Despite Late Rally
A very youthful Briton Ferry Llansawel ended their first ever WPWL campaign with two wins but it was not enough to prevent their relegation.
Behind after only 2 minutes at fifth-placed Cyncoed to a Naomi Grant strike from outside the box, Laura-May Walkley levelled for Ferry from further out and Rebacca Rowe gave them a 2-1 lead, with Alisha Northmore making it 2-2 with just 16 minutes played.
The visitors then built a 5-2 advantage by half-time, with a Lucy Powell brace and one from Rebecca Rees, with Holly Broad pulling one back afterward from long range.
The season ends this Sunday, with Aberystwyth Town in the other relegation place on goal-difference and with their fixtures completed. All Rhyl have to do to avoid taking their place is not lose by 14 or more goals at Cardiff City.
Already promoted to the league are Caernarfon and Caldicot Town, with Llangyfelach requiring only one point from two games to take the West Wales League title.
