Leicester Champions In East Mids South

They went into the crucial day effectively needing just a point to seal to spot, with second-placed Peterborough United only two points behind but well adrift in terms of goal-difference.

The Posh did what they could with an 8-2 victory at Heather LFC in which Keir Parkes hit a hat-trick but Leicester made sure of success by winning 6-1 at third-placed Northampton Town.
