Kempson fires Lewes into semis

A crowd of nearly 250 saw Charlton Athletic beaten 2-1 at home after extra-time by Southern Division title-rivals Lewes.

Sarah Kempson curled the ball home from 20 yards for the Rookettes but when they failed to deal with a Nicole Pepper corner on 36 minutes, Kit Graham slammed home from 10 yards out.

The decider came on 110 minutes, with Kempson again finding the net from outside the area.

Seven-goal Hammers sail through

West Ham blew away South West Division 1 title-chasers Keynsham Town 7-0 to reach the last four in the Plate competition.

Amber Stobbs led the way with a hat-trick, while there was a double for Leanne Mabey and a goal for Kelly Wealthall, before Keynsham put through their own net.

Late goal rush ensures Fylde go through

Birmingham & West Midlands conceded three very late goals to bow out 5-1 at home to top flight side Fylde, the underdogs having earlier halved the deficit at 2-1.

Sophie Charlton and Liv Fuller both got two goals for the visitors and Laura Merrin their other.

Tigresses hit the target

Hull City put four goals past Chorley for the second time this season, Hope Knight among the scorers.
