Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of England under-20 international Chloe Peplow on a contract until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old arrives at the club after her contract with Birmingham City ended on 31st December, and is eligible to make her debut in the FA Women’s Super League 2 match away at Doncaster Rovers Belles on 28th January.
Albion first-team manager Hope Powell said, “We are delighted to welcome Chloe to the club, and she is a player that will bolster our midfield options going into the second half of the season.
“She is a player with plenty of experience at a young age, having featured for Birmingham at FA WSL 1 level and for England at youth-team level.
“She is a technical player with good potential and I’m very much looking forward to working with her.”
Peplow signed for Birmingham in December 2014 and made her debut for the Blues in a 3-0 victory over Bristol City in September 2015. She also featured for the West Midlands club in the 2017 FA Cup Final, coming off the bench in a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.
The midfielder spent the first half of this season on loan at Doncaster, and has represented England at under-15, under-17, under-19 and under-20 level.
