Sarah Jones and Lilli Maple have rejoined Crystal Palace from Watford, having previously left the Eagles to play in the WSL.
Palace say the additions come as they look to strengthen further in their current FA WPL Southern Division campaign and with a bid to join the FA WSL pending.
Speaking on the signings, manager Dean Davenport told crystalpalaceladiesfc.co.uk:
“They are two perfect additions, made all the better for the fact that they have previously been a part of this squad.
“In Sarah, we add the quality we saw from her for so many seasons at the back. She reads the game well as a defender but also has options on the front foot. With Lilli, we get a whole host of capabilities! The all round midfielder with the tackles, the passing and the threat going forwards.
“With the changes taking place in women’s football at this time, and our continued progress and real ambition, both players obviously felt that we were the right option – something that speaks volumes as to our efforts.”
Both players are available for Sunday’s SSE WFA Cup tie at home to Coventry United, which is being played at the changed venue of Glebe FC, off Perry Street, Chislehurst (ko 1pm).
