Northern Division: Leicester Take Third Place
Blackburn finished unbeaten and 11 points clear after a 2-2 tie with Stoke at Ewood Park. Ashleigh Hayes put City in front, before Faye McCoy and Ella Toone turned the match in Rovers’ favour, only for Rachel Ball’s late leveller to see the Potters take fourth place.
Leicester City Women hit Newcastle for six to make sure of third place. Leicester stormed into a 3-0 lead in 13 minutes through Charlotte Greengrass, Shauna Cossens and Alex Madden. Rosie Axten added a second-half penalty, with Nat Johnson and Holly Morgan also registering.
Derby defeated Nottingham Forest in the East Midlands clash to end up fifth. Rebecca Kemp had brought Forest level but the Rams restored their lead in a 2-1 win.
Fylde had to settle for seventh following a 3-0 reverse to Middlesbrough. Bianca Owens bagged a first-half brace and full-back Ellie Dobson rifled in the third after the interval.
Huddersfield took ninth position when coming from a goal down to post a 2-1 victory over West Brom. Abi Cottam scored for the Baggies but in the space of five second-half minutes, Katie Nutter equalised and set up Kate Mallin for the winner.

Southern Division: Coventry Clinch Second
Coventry clinched the runners-up spot after a 3-1 win at Portsmouth, where all the goals came in the first period. Natasha Lynch bundled in a corner and a Jade Formaston flick header had United two up, with Alex Lusan lashing one in for Pompey but Callan Barber re-instating a two-goal cushion.
Cardiff got the only goal in front of over 200 at Crystal Palace to seal third. With 15 minutes left, Kerry Bartlett broke through on goal to slot coolly past keeper Chanelle Yardley,
Charlton slipped to fourth, losing a seven-goal thriller at C&K Basildon. Therese Addison scored for the home team either side of a Grace Coombs volley. Basildon bundled in a third on the rebound from a Kelly Cooper save and Kim Graham replied for the Addicks. Jay Blackie restored the two-goal cushion, with Graham later getting her second but into stoppage-time.
West Ham were sunk 7-0 at home by Spurs, although they only trailed by a Katie O’Leary effort until Wendy Martin doubled the lead moments short of half-time. Martin struck again, with Riana Soobadoo getting on the scoresheet and Lucia Leon finding the net inbetween a Bianca Baptiste brace.
Swindon went down to QPR at the County Ground but stayed above bottom of the table Rangers on goal-difference. Jo Blodgett gave the R’s an interval lead and Juliette Denny hit the second from 30 yards.
Midlands Division 1: Wolves Win Title
Wolves held onto a narrow lead at Leicester City Ladies to take the title by two points. Emma Cross got the only goal early in the second half, when following up a shot against the crossbar.
Long-time leaders Loughborough Foxes were left in second despite their 2-1 win at Sporting Khalsa, who have had a much-improved third-place finish on last season.
Radcliffe Olympic’s defeat of Rotherham with a Honour Cantrell goal got them fourth place while the Millers were left in the drop zone.

Birmingham & West Midlands beat Long Eaton 4-2 for fifth spot, in their last game before moving to Castle Vale FC. Maimee Morris, Katy Kirby and Leah Seivwright had the hosts 3-0 up at the break, Cara Newton and Amy Pashley responded, with Seivwright on target inbetween.
Solihull and TNS shared four goals as Lois Jefferies’ opener brought a couple from the Saints’ Emily Ridge in reply but Carly Davies made it 2-2 with 6 minutes to go.
Elsewhere, Loughborough Students lost 2-1 to visitors Steel City Wanderers.
Northern Division 1: Feds Second In Successive Seasons
Liverpool Feds finished as runners-up by edging Leeds by the odd goal in seven. Channi Thompson twice levelled for the Feds and Laura Hart gave them the lead before they were reduced to ten players by injury to Amy Seagraves. Carla Lee made it 4-2 from long-distance and although Leeds hit back from similar range, they missed the chance for a fourth with a free-kick clearing the bar.
Mossley Hill pulled off a great escape with an amazing 3-0 win at Hull, where they were two goals to the good by half-time.
Blackpool Wren Rovers were relegated with a 4-1 defeat to Brighouse. Chloe Dean scored on her full debut for Town and although Rovers equalised, goals by Emily Starkie, Charlotte Proud and Nikki Swift secured all three points.
Crewe survived on goal-difference despite their 3-0 loss at Guiseley, where Olivia Thackray, Chantelle O’Hara and Sarah Danby got a goal each.
Chester le Street made uite sure of fourth spot with a big 7-2 scoreline over Morecambe.

South East Division 1: Dons First To Defeat Gills
AFC Wimbledon came from two goals down to become the first side to beat Gillingham in the league this season and thereby clinch third place. Fliss Gibbons and Kallie Balfour scored for the Gills, with Katie Stanley, Yasmin Poole and Rebecca Sargeant hitting back.
Norwich are in real danger of a bottom-two finish after a double-figure defeat at home to Actonians. The Canaries must now beat Lowestoft and Luton to get out of the relegation zone.
Stevenage bagged another point towards safety in a creditable goalless draw at Luton.
Enfield sent Lowestoft to a 5-1 reverse that saw them pinned to the foot of the table.
MK Dons defeated Cambridge for the second time in a week, Heather McDonnell and Hannah Barrett the scorers.
Denham held Ipswich 2-2 to take eighth place on goal-difference from their hosts. Roxanne Small and Zoe Cossey put Town ahead after Jenny Banfield’s opener but a stoppage-time header from Lauren Page earned a point for United.
South West Division 1: Chichester Complete Classy Campaign
Chichester topped the table by ten points as they won 2-0 at Keynsham to complete the campaign with only two points dropped. Jess Lewry and Lauren Cheshire got the goals on the day.
Brislington tied 2-2 with Basingstoke and Maidenhead were 1-0 winners with a first-half goal at Exeter, even though they only had nine players available.
