Norwich Take Survival Battle Into Last Game

Wednesday 17th May
FA PREMIER LEAGUE
DIVISION 1 SOUTH EAST

Norwich City 4-2 Lowestoft Town (Att: 75)

Playing catch-up, Norwich City have collected enough points to be within a final-day victory to overtake Stevenage, who are in their first ever year at this level.

The Canaries got off to a flying start on Wednesaday, as Natasha Snellng and Chelsea Garrett put them two up in only 7 minutes against the already relegated Lowestoft Town.

But that was all undone by the break, as Tiffany Forshaw and Ciera Flatt replied in a five-minute spell to pile the pressure back on the hosts.

The tension lasted throughout the second half, as it wasn’t until the last 7 minutes that Aimee Durrant restored the advantage and then Kyla Love added a fourth.

City must now beat fifth-placed Luton Town at Norwich United FC on Sunday (2pm ko), having lost 3-1 away to the Hatters in February.
