Four More For Liverpool
Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the WSL 1 Spring Series table to six points, with another high-scoring victory, netting four goals for the fourth time in five games.
Striking twice in the opening 21 minutes against Sunderland, Caroline Weir got the first from outside the box and Natasha Harding then slotted the ball home after being slipped through by Alex Greenwood.
Weir doubled her tally (pictured top) for the night on 57 minutes, with a tap-in following Gemma Bonner’s cross being passed on by substitute Ali Johnson.
Casey Stoney made it 4-0 with 10 minutes to go, turning in Greenwood’s corner at the far post.
Anke Preuss denied Sophie Ingle late on, her header from another Greenwood flag-kick tipped over the crossbar.
Nobbs Nabs Last Gasp Leveller
Chelsea came from behind to take the lead in stoppage-time but there was still time for Jordan Nobbs to make it 2-2 with her back to goal.

Arsenal were ahead at the interval after Danielle Carter went down in a tangle with Carly Telford and Jodie Taylor followed up her own penalty to beat the keeper at the second attempt.
The Blues were brought level by a Millie Bright header from a long free-kick to the left-hand side of the goal by Maren Mjelde.
Nobbs hit the bar from 25 yards and Gemma Davison had an effort ruled out for offside, as the game built to a dramatic conclusion.
In the thitd minute of added time, substitute Drew Spence played a one-two with Crystal Dunn to net her sixth goal in as many games this year but then Carter’s shot saw Nobbs flick the ball past a wrong-footed keeper.
Both sides then remain unbeaten and despite being pegged back at the death, Chelsea edge above Manchester City into second place.
White Brace Wins It For Blues
Birmingham City bagged their first win of the campaign to leapfrog visitors Bristol City in the table.
Midway through the first half, Andrine Hegerberg clipped the crossbar for the home side, then at the other end Chloe Arthur forced a fine save from Sophie Baggaley.
Ellen White’s glancing header from 12 yards beat keeper Caitlin Leach to open the scoring 6 minutes before the break.
Lauren Hemp was close to equalising off a Claire Emslie cross but after Sarah Mayling crashed a shot against the post, she delivered the ball for White (pictured above) to score on half-time.
Van den Berg Gives Reading Victory
There was eight bookings and just one goal in very wet conditions at Taunton Town, as Reading went away with all three points.

The goal came just 7 minutes in, when Mandy van den Berg headed home from a corner into the Yeovil net.
Reading should have added to their lead but Kirsty McGee was wide with two close-range headers.
Yeovil had a chance to level on 64 minutes, Ellie Curson sliding the ball through for Lucy Quinn but her powerful effort was matched by keeper Mary Earps.
The result sees the Royals double their points tally, while the Glovers have lost all their five games,
