Arsenal may be out of the WSL title race this season following their second stalemate against Manchester United, with the Gunners now 10 points behind Manchester City in the standings.
While their title charge may have come to an end, there is still plenty to play for this season for Arsenal.
Is Arsenal’s WSL title charge over?
Arsenal vs Manchester United on Saturday was described as ‘make or break’ for both clubs and their WSL campaigns.
There was no headline-making result for either team however, with a 0-0 draw played out at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal were definitely the team to come off worse from the result. United were reduced to 10 players after 65 minutes, with Jayde Riviere shown a second yellow card in the game.
Marc Skinner confirmed after the game that his team could have no complaints about the dismissal.
Despite playing against 10, Arsenal couldn’t find a breakthrough and were left disappointed with just one point from the clash.
Not the result we wanted but once again, support to be proud of ❤️

Renee Slegers’ side are now four points behind Chelsea in second and a further six points adrift of Manchester City in first.
Closing a ten point gap in as many games will certainly be a difficult feat, but it’s not impossible.
Arsenal still have to play Chelsea and Manchester City in the league. The crucial showdowns are coming up within the next month and they will without a doubt either kill or revive the Gunners’ title hopes before the run in.
Arsenal’s season is far from over
With their WSL title chances looking bleak now, Arsenal may turn their full attention to other competitions.
An FA Cup clash is coming up next for the team with Aston Villa visiting Arsenal on Sunday in the fourth round.
The Gunners have back to back cup games in the next two weeks, as they face Manchester United again in a week with a place in the League Cup final up for grabs.
Arsenal and United have faced off twice so far this season and both games ended 0-0.
Of course Arsenal will also be looking to retain their Champions League title in 2026.

There is still a long way to go in Europe but Renee Slegers’ team kicks off their knockout run with a straightforward assignment against Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
The Gunners have eased past their Belgian opponent already this season, as they won 3-0 away from home during the league phase.
