More wintry weather means league and cup games postponed, three WSL2 games off

Another week of cold weather across England and Wales means that the women’s football fixture list is once again affected on Sunday.

WSL2 is set to resume following the winter break, but three matches are postponed thus far – Durham v Sunderland, and Ipswich Town v Charlton Athletic. Newcastle United v Birmingham City was postponed ahead of time on Saturday evening.

In the FA Women’s National League Cup quarter-finals, Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Bromwich Albion and Swindon Town v Bournemouth are both postponed.

In the FA Women’s National League Plate quarter-finals, Halifax v Chorley is postponed.

In the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier, the postponements are:
Loughborough Lightning v Derby County
Sporting Khalsa v Hull City

In Division One North, the postponements are:
Doncaster Rovers Belles v Huddersfield Town
Leeds United v York City
Norton and Stockton Ancients v Wythenshawe

In Division One Midlands, the postponements are:
Kidderminster Harriers v Sutton Coldfield Town
Lincoln United v Leafield Athletic
Stourbridge v Peterborough United

In Division One South East, the postponements are:
Cambridge United v Chatham Town
Luton Town v AFC Sudbury

In Division One South West, the postponements are:
Marine Academy Plymouth v Ascot United

In Wales, both Genero Adran Trophy matches – Wrexham versus Briton Ferry Llansawel and The New Saints versus Cardiff City – are both postponed.

Many games across England and Wales were called off last weekend, most notably the top-of-the-table clash in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier between Burnley and Wolves.
