Tottenham teenager Toko Koga scored her first goal for the club on Sunday, becoming the club’s youngest scorer in WSL history.
The 19-year-old became the first teenager to score in the league for Spurs women.
Toko Koga sets goalscoring record
Japanese international star joined Tottenham in summer this year and she has already made a huge impact in her short time at the club.
Koga netted Spurs’ first goal of the game on Sunday against Liverpool with a poachers finish at the back post.
The defender was in the thick of the action from a corner and a goalmouth scramble led to her first goal for the club.

Koga became the first teenager to score for Tottenham, beating Angela Addison’s previous record by just three months.
The 19-year-old also became the youngest player from Asia to ever net in the WSL.
It is clear to see the impact that Koga has made since moving to England in July as from nine starts in 2025 she already has five clean sheets for the club.

Bethany England makes history
Toko Koga wasn’t the only one who made history with her goal on the weekend.
Spurs captain Bethany England scored the winner at Brisbane Road – her 50th goal at home for the club.
No other player in WSL history has found the back of the net in 50 home games, with England setting her own record against Liverpool.
Tottenham’s captain has only scored two goals so far this year, but both were winners for her club.
Spurs are flying in the league this season and a win against London City Lionesses this weekend could move them up to as high as second if results go their way.
