Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor has sung the praises of Aggie Beever-Jones as her remarkable goalscoring continues.
The Blues’ ‘backup’ striker has now scored in all four of her WSL games to start the season.
Aggie Beever-Jones continues fast start
Chelsea have started the season off to a flyer and Aggie Beever-Jones certainly isn’t hanging around for the Blues.
The 22-year-old has scored in all four of her WSL games so far this year in what has been the most impressive run of form in her career so far.
“Aggie has been fantastic for us,” Sonia Bompastor said after her striker scored again. “Not only from the beginning of this season but last year as well.
“She’s been crucial in terms of being clinical, scoring important goals and great goals for us as well. It’s really good for her personally, and for the team as well, so I’m really pleased with that.”
The slow return of Sam Kerr this season hasn’t been a problem for Chelsea with her superstar backup starring.
Beever-Jones netted first for the Blues again over the weekend against West Ham with a top drawer free kick.

With her stunning strike, Beever-Jones made history becoming the first-ever Chelsea player to score in the club’s opening four games of the campaign.
The forward also equalled her own personal record of scoring in five league games in a row.
The Blues went on to beat West Ham in a comfortable win after a ‘moment of madness’ saw Ines Belloumou sent off before half time.
What next for Beever-Jones and Chelsea?
Following their win, Chelsea remain the only perfect team in the WSL with four wins from four.
Up next is a huge clash for the Blues, who face Manchester United away from home on Friday.
United are just two points behind Chelsea and still unbeaten after a fast start to the year with their only dropped points coming in a goalless draw against Arsenal.
A win for Chelsea on Friday night would send them five points clear of their nearest pursuer at the top of the table.
Aggie Beever-Jones will be the first name on Bompastor’s teamsheet regardless of what happens this week, even with Sam Kerr pushing for a return to the side.
