Tottenham vs Manchester City preview
Tottenham will look to maintain their 100 per cent record when they welcome Manchester City on Friday night.
Martin Ho’s side have made the perfect start to the season with victories against West Ham and Everton.
Last time out, Cathinka Tandberg scored one of the goals of the season, with an ambitious lob from 40 yards out against the Toffees on her debut.
Spurs will be underdogs when they face one of the best sides in the country in Manchester City.
The Manchester City side includes an in-form Yu Hasegawa, who Jeglertz said could be one of the best players in the world.
Andree Jeglertz’s side have had a mixed start to the campaign, with a defeat to Chelsea on the opening day, followed by a comeback victory against Brighton.
Last season, City won this fixture 2-1 after a 78th-minute winner from Aoba Fujino. That was after Khadija Shaw scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory in Manchester earlier in the season.
It might be early days, but Tottenham look like a side that can pose the top teams more problems than they did last season – when they finished second bottom in the Women’s Super League.

Team news
Tottenham fans will hope to hear some good news regarding Molly Bartrip and Ashleigh Neville, who both missed the victory over Everton.
Luana Buhler and Ella Morris are long-term absentees for Martin Ho’s side.
Andree Jeglertz provided injury updates on Grace Clinton and Sydney Lohmann during his press conference on Thursday.
Clinton has been in training this week, with Ho insisting she’s ‘definitely on her way’ back to full fitness.
The England international has yet to feature since her cross-city switch that saw Jess Park head to Manchester United
Lohmann is yet to feature since her move from Bayern Munich, though she won’t be available for Friday night’s game.

Manchester City: Keating; Prior, Greenwood, Ouahabi; Casparij, Beney, Brown, Hasegawa, Hemp; Shaw, Miedema
Tottenham vs Manchester City prediction
Tottenham have made the stronger start to the season but this is their toughest test to date.
City have won 10 out of the last 11 WSL fixtures between these two sides, with Tottenham’s last victory coming in September 2021.
Spurs will give City a run for their money, but the visitors will have enough attacking quality to walk away with the three points.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Manchester City
