Arsenal set to showcase summer signings
The Gunners have already played their first pre-season friendly of the summer when facing off against Tottenham.
Arsenal were on the wrong end of a seven goal thriller against their bitter rivals as WSL preparations got off to a disappointing start.
Despite the negative result, Arsenal fans did get a first look at some of their new signings.
Olivia Smith became the first-ever female £1million signing this summer and she featured off the bench for Arsenal against Spurs.

Anneke Borbe and Taylor Hinds both also featured for Renee Slegers and all three arrivals put up encouraging debut performances.
Superstars from the Euros also returned to action, with new permanent signing Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo and Mariona Caldentey all starting for Arsenal.
Beth Mead was also named in the starting lineup despite transfer rumours linking her with the London City Lionesses.
Despite a lacklustre showing against Tottenham, Slegers is likely to start a very similar lineup against West Ham with the new signings sure to take centre stage.
West Ham looking to end pre-season unbeaten
In comparison to the Gunners, West Ham have enjoyed a very different pre-season campaign.
West Ham have played two games so far this summer and they won both. A 1-0 win against Sparta Prague kicked off their pre-season but it is the win against Liverpool that turned heads.
A 3-0 win for the Hammers last weekend could prove to be key preparation for the club just two weeks before the season begins.
Arsenal are set to be a much tougher test than Liverpool though and after getting a first 90 minutes under their belt the Gunners could be a lot more serious this week.
West Ham kick off their WSL campaign against Tottenham on Sunday, September 7th before travelling to Arsenal for their second game of the season.
