London City Lionesses head coach Jocelyn Precheur has admitted that the club are interested in signing Arsenal star Beth Mead.
The newly promoted club have shown their ambition in the summer transfer already with a host of impressive signings.
They are now attempting to pull off their biggest coup yet, with the addition of England forward Beth Mead.
Mead won the Golden Boot with England as they won the European Championship on home soil three years ago. Although she played a smaller part in Switzerland, Mead walked away with her second Women’s Euros gold medal.
The 30-year-old is entering her ninth season at Arsenal, where she has scored 78 goals in 225 appearances.
However, questions are being raised over whether Mead will leave Arsenal before the new WSL season begins, after reports that London City Lionesses are interested in signing her.

What did London City boss Jocelyn Precheur say about Beth Mead?
In an interview with talkSPORT, London City Lionesses head coach Jocelyn Precheur admitted that the club are keen on signing Beth Mead.
Precheur credited the club’s owner Michele Kang for the ambition they have already shown so far this summer.
The head coach who guided London City to promotion last season, says that “everything is possible” at London City and is hopeful a deal can be made.
He told talkSPORT: “If I’m a promoted team and I work for another club, if someone comes and tells me ‘we are trying to convince Beth Mead to join,’ I would say ‘come on, are you serious?’
“But this is why something is very special in London City. First, because of Michele, but it’s really a place where everything is possible.
“Yes, we are the promoted team, but Michelle wants us to be ambitious and give all the support we need.
“So, no I am not surprised when they told me they are talking with Beth Mead. Okay, let’s try, let’s see.”
