Southampton have signed Araya Dennis from Tottenham Hotspur and Siobhan Wilson of Birmingham City on loan deals.
England U-19 international winger Dennis was with Arsenal when loaned out to Watford and Crystal Palace, before joining Spurs last summer
Dennis told southamptonfc.com: “I’m really excited to be here and get some minutes in for the rest of the season.”
“It’s been really good [moving to Spurs], being around the girls for the past couple of months and learning off of them every day, they’re all experienced players. Hopefully all the learning I’ve taken I can bring here.”
Head Coach Remi Allen added: “We’re delighted to add Araya to the group; she’s already gained experience at this level despite her young age and will bring some extra energy to us.
“She’s been in promoted squads before and learnt a lot as part of a WSL side this season, which we hope will help her hit the ground running for the rest of the year.”
Wilson is a Jamaican international and versatile left-sided player, who returned to action last March, after recovering from an ACL injury.
She said: “For me it’s about getting consistency with game time and trying to get back on the pitch, I’m feeling good and ready. I want to help the team as much as I can, whether that’s providing assists or whatever I can do to add value.”
Allen added: “We’re delighted to welcome Shiv to the side for the rest of the season, I know the type of character she is and she’ll bring some good energy to the squad on and off the pitch.
“It’s great to see her back fit and firing after her injury, and I’m excited to work with her for the rest of the campaign.”
