Liverpool Feds knock Rugby Borough out of FA Women’s National League Cup, Billericay Town and West Brom win on penalties.

Liverpool Feds went through 1-0 at Rugby courtesy of an eighth-minute Naomi Cole goal, Borough had Saskia Morris sent off withonly 11 minutes played.

Nottingham Forest had a narrow win at Cheadle, Sophie Domingo making the breakthrough with eight minutes left.

Burnley also progressed by a solitary goal at Sutton Coldfield, a Reanna Blades cross going in off a home defender.

Billericay came from 2-1 down to lead Oxford 3-2, United forcing penalties with a goal on 188 minutes but Town won the shoot-out.

West Brom’s Simran Jhamat made it 3-3 against Northampton in the 120th minute, the Baggies then edging the underdogs 3-2 on penalties.

Real Bedford won 2-1 at Gwalia United despite going behind midway through the second half, Nicola Ouddick and Sofia Stovold their scorers.

QPR beat Division 1 South West leaders Swindon Town 2-0, holders Hashtag are in the hat for the next round after knocking out Derby.

Mollie Coupar scored a last-minute winner for Cambridge United against Bristol City Academy, Lizzy Hamer’s 86th-minute goal for Stockport saw her side beat Liverpool Academy.

Loughborough Lightning super sub Zynia Delglyn bagged a brace in the extra-time victory over Norton.

Barnsley Women beat basement side Lincoln City to move into the top half of the table.

AFC Sudbury and London Bees drew a blank but both moved level on points with sixth-placed Dulwich Hamlet.

Bristol Rovers 3-0 Southampton Women

Bristol Rovers are joint third with Moneyfields following a 3-0 victory over Southampton Women, who are yet to get off the mark. The bottom side held out until added time, when Rianne Bourne-Hallet bagged a brace and substitute Poppy Wannell also scored.
