Forward Georgia Stevens signs a professional contract with Coventry United Ladies, whom she joins from Icelandic club Thor/KA.
“Georgia is a great addition to squad and gives us a different dynamic in our front line,” manager Jay Bradford told culfc-media.co.uk.
The 20-year-old – who has represented England seven times at youth level – has had spells with Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield United, Fylde and Huddersfield Town.
She earned a move to Iceland through BT Sport’s Ultimate Goal show but returned to England when the Icelandic season was cut short by COVID.
Stevens wrote on Twitter: ‘Very excited to announced that I’ve signed with Coventry United Ladies.
‘Playing in the FA Women’s Championship for a club with such ambition is a major step forward for me and I can’t wait to get started!’
Meanwhile, defender Anna Wilcox penned her first professional contract with the Red & Greens.
