Our final look at the County Leagues during the festive break includes Norfolk, Notts, Sheffield & Hallam, South East Counties, Thames Valley and West Riding.
Midwest Counties
The 16-strong league has Hereford FC as leaders with all their eight games to date ending in victories. Ross are just goal-difference off the top but have played ten times, their position can be equalled by both Kingfisher and Redditch Borough if they will their match in hand.
Norfolk
Bungay Town’s perfect form sees them lead Division 1 and with games in hand on most others, while Sprowston and Bure Valley are both unbeaten. FC Viking & Valkyries are the one Division 2 side yet to lose and lead the table by two points from Shrublands, with Beccles Town and Waveney playing catch-up. Just a single point separates the top five in Division 3, which has Bure Valley Development top on goal-difference from Brundall Bolts and Waveney Development, Horsford Hurricanes and North Walsham Town are one point behind and the table can be tighter still if Martham and Kirkley & Pakefield win games in hand.
Northamptonshire
Moulton sit in pole position in the Premier but Brackley Town are only two points behind with as many games in hand and with a 100% record. Daventry Lionesses lead Division 1 by goal-difference from Long Buckby Reserves, Rushden are two points behind and Harpole four off the top but the latter have played fewer games.
North Riding
Guisborough Town hold a strong position at the top of the Premier, unbeaten and four points clear of the rest. Redcar Athletic and Linthorpe Academicals are their nearest rivals but have played more games, Northallerton Town have games in hand but not enough to make any more of an impact on the leaders. Wigginton Grasshoppers have nine wins from nine in Division 1, with Boro Rangers perhaps their only serious challengers as things stand.
Northumberland
Premier leaders Berwick Rangers Academy have an advantage over Morpeth Town in goal-difference but also a game in hand, Wallsend BC U-23s are third with a couple of points less.ย Top of Division 1 are North Shields Athletic with only two points dropped from 36 so far, five ahead of Heaton Hawks Reserves, while unbeaten Gosforth Bohemian can get closer by winning their four games in hand.
Nottinghamshire
Radcliffe Olympic have a three-point lead at the top of Division 1 over Calverton Miners Welfare and Mansfield Town Development, Newark Town and University of Nottingham are a further point back but there are games to make up for both. Division 2 leaders Eastwood & Kimberley are only a point ahead of Keyworth United, Bingham Town and Shirebrook Rangers are both also just as close but from a game more. Nine wins from nine have Arnold Town seven points clear of Gedling Southbank in Division 3, while East Leake in third are unbeaten with a couple of games to make up.
Sheffield & Hallamshire
Three teams are level on points at the top of Division 1, Rotherham United U-21s lead but Millmoor Development have two games in hand and Just Football Women one, while Rossington Main are nine points behind but with the chance to overtake all those above them. YP Women lead Wath Stars by five points from a game more in Division 2, Chesterfield Ladies U-23s have an additional five points to catch up but from another two games. Dearne & District are top of the Third by three points, Maltby have played one match more, SJR Worksop Development and Mind Over Matter FC have a game in hand each. A dozen straight wins in Division 4 sees Wickersley nine points ahead of Scawthorpe Scorpions, whose position can be matched by Wombwell Town.
Shropshire
High-scoring Telford Town lead the 13-team league on goal-difference from Broseley while holding two games in hand, Shrewsbury Up & Comers and Shawbury United are two and three points respectively behind the top two.
Somerset
Wells City lead Division 1 by a three-point margin over Pen Mill, while winning games in hand will put Wellington Wildcats, Nailsea United and Frome Town very much in the title race. With ten wins from 11, Bridport top Division 2 by three points from Ilminster Town Reserves who will be overtaken on goal-difference if Cheddar emerge victorious from their game in hand. Odd Down’s 11 wins in a row have them top of Division 3 North by nine points from Portishead ‘A’ who have one game in hand, Staplegrove lead the 3 South table chased by Combe St Nicholas and Porlock.
South East Counties
Premier leaders Sevenoaks Town are pursued by London Road and Maidstone United, also Tonbridge Angels and Cray Wanderers, the latter with four games in hand with which to get much closer. Farnham Town have seven wins in a row in the Surrey Premier to lead Leatherhead Youth by three points. Top of Surrey Division 1 North are Manorcroft United with a 100% record ahead of Hersham and third-placed Molesey Athletic, Ash United lead the South table but a similarly unbeaten Oxted & District can catch them with their games in hand. Park Regis lead Kent Division 1 East after seven wins on the spin, fourth-placed Deal Town best placed to attempt to catch them. Glebe Rangers are top of Kent Division 1 West by eight points from Petts Wood but can be caught with Long Lane’s games in hand. Kent Division 2 East has Folkestone Invicta clear leaders with Sellindge possibly their chief rivals, Herne Bay Development’s seven wins from seven in the Mid-East table puts them three points ahead of Sittingbourne and also Canterbury Eagles. Larkfield’s winning run sees them lead the Kent Division 2 Mid-West table from Borough Green, while in the West section Foots Cray Lionesses’ six straight wins puts them clear of Crayford Arrows.
Staffordshire
Chasetown are two points better off than Whitchurch Alport in the push for the Premier title, Stoke Town have won all eight games to date to lead both Hanley Town and Stafford Town by six points in Division 1. Coton Green lead the Recreational Division but second-placed AFC Fradley Hercules are the unbeaten side.

Suffolk
Woodbridge Town’s lead in the Premiership is only a single point from Brantham Athletic, who are also unbeaten and have a game in hand. Kesgrave Kestrels top the Championship by four points from Ramsey & Mistley – who have two games in hand –ย and Bacton United, while Brantham Athletic Development and Alresford Colne Rangers could each make some headway when catching up with their fixtures.
Sussex
With nine wins on the trot Eastbourne Borough are 11 points in front of Horsham in the Premier, with the second-placed side just two games to make up. Oakwood lead the Championship by one point from Brighton Seagals and have played two games fewer, Hailsham Town and Burgess Hill Town looking better placed to challenge. The View Ladies are looking good in Division 1 having won eight in a row, to sit three points in front of Newhaven Development.

Thames Valley Counties
Eleven wins from a dozen outings have put Larkspur Rovers top of Division 1 on goal-difference from Oxford City Development, who have played two matches more, meaning that Barton United could be a better bet for a top-two finish. Caversham’s Division 2 leadership is under threat from Easington Sports and Thame United, who both have games in hand with which to overtake them. Division 3 North top two Tower Hill and Chinnor have both lost three times, leaving Holmer Green in third looking strongest with six wins in seven. Division 3 South leaders Windsor & Eton can be caught by both Taplow United and AFC Reading, Burghfield are chasing down Headington in 3 West with only two points to make up and three games with which to do it. The Development Division of a dozen teams has Burghfield Reserves top following 10 wins in a row, to lead by three points the trio of Finchampstead Reserves, Stanford-in-the-Vale and Wroxton Sports.
West Riding
The Premier’s first three of Farsley Celtic, Leeds Medics & Dentists and Ilkley Town have all suffered three defeats, Harrogate Railway just the one but their hopes have been hampered by five draws. Thackley have been faultless in their 11 Division 1 outings to lead Knaresborough Town by five points, Horsforth St Margarets top Division 2 on goal-difference from Rangers Athletic, followed by Boroughbridge and Route One Rovers. After eight straight wins Eccleshill United lead the Third from Brighouse Town, who are level on points from a game more, Halifax Friendly top Division 4 but Pontefract Collieries could be set to replace them as leaders. Pontefract Collieries Reserves are top of Division 5A by four points from Eldwick Lionesses and Sherburn White Rose Development, the latter holding two games in hand. Leading the 5B table is Leeds Modernians Development with ten wins on the spin. followed by Ripon City and the better-placed Kellingley Welfare.

Corsham Print Wiltshire
Premier leaders are Bemerton Heath Harlequins after beginning with seven wins in a row, to lead by two points from Highworth Town, AFC Brislington and Swindon Supermarine. In the Development Division, Trowbridge Wanderers lead by three points from Marlborough Town – who have a game in hand – and South Newton & Barford Hornets.
