After winning the 2015/16 Welsh Premier Women’s League season, their third consecutive league title, Cardiff Met (pictured) will be representing Wales in Europe.

They will kick off their UWCL Qualifying Campaign on a high, having remained unbeaten in the league, notching 18 wins and just two draws, finishing the season on 56 points, and a goal difference of 101.

Cardiff Met will compete in one of four-team, one-venue mini-tournaments, in this case, hosted by the FAW in Cardiff, with the draw set for June 23rd.

The qualifying round winners join the teams given a bye past that stage in the round of 32.

The final is on 1 June at Cardiff City Stadium, two days before the men’s final at the National Stadium of Wales.
