After coming within touching distance of silverware over the past four seasons, Leeds Carnegie manager, Rick Passmoor, hopes to finally guide his side past the winning post when they take on Everton in The Final of The FA Tesco Women's Premier League Cup on Thursday 11 February.

Since 2006 Leeds Carnegie (previously called Leeds United) have appeared in one Premier League Cup Final and two FA Women's Cup Finals and have lost out to Arsenal on each occasion.

This time round they face the 2008 winners, in a match being staged at Rochdale's Spotland Stadium, and although Passmoor acknowledges Everton's class, he is keen for his players' hard work to be rewarded with the trophy.

"Everton are a top, top side and in Mo Marley they have got an excellent coach, so we know we'll be in for a tough match," he told The FA.com.

"I think they are a fabulous team. We will pay them the respect they deserve, but if we stick to our game plan and get a little bit of luck along the way, hopefully we will be going back to Leeds with some silverware.

"The players have been magnificent for me all season," continued Passmoor. "Because of the recent bad weather, we've only played a handful of games since early November but I have to take my hat off to all the girls because in training in the last few months they have applied themselves very, very well.

"There is a good bond between the players which should stand us in good stead, but we've also got to show resilience and professionalism and put in a performance to be proud of. We've got to play for each other and give a good account of ourselves.

"This Final rewards the hard work that has been done by everyone at the club, from the players and coaching staff to the scouts and volunteers. We're all looking forward to the game and hopefully we can go that little bit further and become winners."

You can book your tickets now and they are priced at only £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. Prices in a group booking are £3 for adults and £2 for under-16s. Rochdale AFC ticket hotline - 0844 826 1907 (Option 8).
