England missed out on qualification for this summer’s UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Spain.
Emma Coates’ side needed to win in Nyon to progress to the final tournament, taking place in Belgium from 18-30 July.
However, it was Spain who were to be victorious after Jone Amezaga’s goal just after the half-hour mark.
