Barcelona made the UEFA Women’s Champions League final 5-3 on aggregate but only after a fright in Wolfsburg.

Leading 5-1 from the first leg and unbeaten in nearly 50 games in all competitions, they went down 2-0 to Wolfsburg.

The German side went ahead on the night two minutes into the second half, Felicitas Rausch hitting her free kick into the wall but Tabea Wassmuth curled in the rebound from the edge of the box.

Jill Roord won possession for the home side and ran at the defence, before firing into Sandra Paños’s bottom corner.

Ewa Pajor forced Paños into making two saves but Barca progressed to the final in Turin on Saturday 21 May.

They will meet either Lyon or PSG, who play their second leg tonight (Saturday) at 8pm (UK time), live on DAZN/DAZN YouTube.
