#SSESWCup: Queens Park Ladies lowest ranked side in quarter-finals

SWFL 1 sides Aberdeen and Queens Park have both made the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup quarter-finals, while SWPL 2 leaders Hamilton Academical are also through.

Queens Park came through 4-2 against Dunfermline Athletic with the aid of an Ashley McKeown brace, while Aberdeen knocked out SWPL 2 opponents in Kilmarnock as Francesca Ogilvie netted twice.

Hibernian hit Edinburgh derby hosts Hearts 7-1 but only after the underdogs opened the scoring through Danni McGinley. Siobhan Hunter levelled and went on to notch a hat-trick and substitute Shannon Leishman scored twice.

Celtic were restricted to a 2-0 scoreline by lower division St Johnstone. Chloe Craig broke the deadlock with a 61st-minute penalty and got her second goal with 7 minutes remaining.

Rangers ran out 4-0 winners at Forfar with one apiece for Holly Napier, Hannah Robertson and Shelley Campbell, while a Brogan Hay corner forced an own goal.

Motherwell went one better against Inverness, Chelsea McEachran’s double added to by Katie Rice, Abby Callaghan and a Kerry Montgomery spot-kick.

Hamilton hit a dozen goals against Clyde, Accies’ Chloe Muir leading the way with five.

However, Glasgow City really went goal crazy with twenty against Dundee City, Hayley Sinclair top-scored with four and Sam Kerr got three.
