Scotland Women U-19s friendly international with Wales in Wrexham had remained goalless until almost the hour mark, when the floodgates were opened.

Laura Berry opened the scoring for Scotland at Colliers Park on Saturday afternoon, with the first of her 22-minute hat-trick.

Kayla Jardine and Jodie McLeary also contributed to the rush of goals for the visitors, as they went 5-0 up by the 78th minute.

Ania Denham hit back for Wales with a double, converting a penalty and getting her second in stoppage-time.

Scotland had also won the midweek meeting with Wales, when Lisa Forrest’s opener was cancelled out by Evie Hughes but Tiree Burchill, Mia McAuley, Berry and McLeary all scored for a 5-1 scoreline.
