Scotland Women go top of Euro qualifying group

Scotland beat Israel 4-1 to go top of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying League B Group 2 on goal-difference from Serbia.

Played behind closed doors at Hampden Park, kick-off faced lengthy delay due to protests but when the match did get underway, it was 17 minutes until Claire Emslie got the first of her brace.

Kirsty Hanson got the second on the half-hour, soon after turning provider for Emslie.

Martha Thomas converted a 63rd-minute penalty, before Talia Sommer scored a late consolation.
